Volunteer activity is the basis for building up and development of civil society. It embodies the noblest aspirations of mankind - the desire for peace, freedom, security and justice for all people.
Volunteer activity – individual or collective – is a way to:
support and strengthening of such human values as care and assistance to community members;
the use by each person of his/her rights and responsibilities as a member of a certain community in the process of learning and development throughout his life in order to realize his/her full human potential;
interaction between people, despite all the differences, for living together in a healthy, sustainable society, for the joint development of new ways of solving problems that arise.
This Code supports everyone's right to volunteer without any discrimination based on cultural or ethnic origin, religion, age, gender, physical, social or economic status. All people in the world should have the right to freely spend their time, talent and energy for the benefit of others, working individually or in groups and without expectation of financial reward.

1) Solidarity – volunteer activity is aimed at achieving common goals and does not contradict its principles.
2) Voluntariness – the volunteer provides assistance at his own will in the chosen field of volunteering. No one can be forced to act as a volunteer, a volunteer acts at the behest of his/her heart, it is always his/her decision and desire to participate in the creation of a better world.

5) Conscientiousness – a volunteer who undertakes to perform this or that work must complete it on time.
6) Social utility is always at the heart of volunteering. Solving or mitigating a social problem is what every volunteer or volunteer group focuses on. It doesn't matter how much help is provided, what matters is how much the volunteers manage to be close to those who need help the most.

Therefore, volunteers are encouraged to use their own example to promote the benefits and advantages of the volunteer status, in particular to talk about their own experience of volunteering in social networks, in informal communication, at thematic events, etc. For its part, GO GLOBAL constantly organizes events for volunteers and tries to involve volunteers in as many of its own projects and programs as possible.
